Projekt COST “PlasmaplusEnvironment”
In order to contribute to the progress on plasma applications for environmental issues a strong collaboration of scientists and engineers from all over Europe is required. Therefore proposed Action will bring together different experts from industry and research institutions. The activities are divided into 4 Working Groups (WG), all working in the fields of exhaust gas treatment, abatement of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from air by discharge, plasma based wastewater cleaning as well as knowledge transfer and scientific marketing. The main objective is to support industrial development of environmental protection technologies to enable European industry to fulfil actual and planned environmental standards. Specific public authorities will also be included to realize these goals. One specific task is to promote and exchange scientific and technological knowledge through conferences, workshops and common research activities.
