The company Plazma Innovation is a start-up company and the place of business is Greifswald. The main aim of the company is to develop the robotics based 3D plasma cutting systems further. Based on a technology patent – a already existing technology will be developed further, to produce metal blanks (tubes, thick metal bar) with the minimum of loss of material due to cutting and the minimum of metal finishing. Meanwhile this technology can cut tubes in a way that on the other side of the tube no mechanical damages will be occur. A further aim is the use of robotics under difficult to access surrounding conditions for people. So the cutting could be also done with hot material from 1200 degrees up to 1400 degrees and energy-intensive cooling down and heating procedures could be reduced. Another research field will be the use of optimised the plasma torches for local energy generation from industrial waste.
